Our Place - Tourism Information Systems

Lewisburg's Kiosk,  housed in a natural wood cabinet. This enclosure was selected over the modern terminal look because it fit the historic theme of the room.
Turn any space into an interpretive center with a Visitor Information Kiosk. This is perfect for government office lobbies, hotels, parks, resorts, churches, schools, museums, visitor centers, airports, tourist attractions and any other location where there are people needing information.

For example, the founders of the Lewisburg Living History Exhibit, located in the Lewisburg, WV City Hall Lobby, collaborated on a computerized touchscreen kiosk program to give visitors information about shopping, attractions, accommodations, restaurants, events, activities and history across the region.

It's a virtual concierge with maps, digital brochures, local history and full-screen live videos covering everything from tourism sites to virtual tours of local businesses.  It is handicap accessible and the audio is adjustable for the hearing impaired.

Float your mouse over images, like the one to the left, and explore this site for examples and ideas for your Kiosk.
Towns:  Revitalize your commercial district with a Virtual Main Street Visitors Center.
We will even program it for you!

This design uses two monitors.  The lower monitor is positioned and tilted so that a person can either sit at the kiosk or stand up.

There is no mouse or keyboard needed.  The screen is touch sensitive so all the visitor has to do is touch the easy to understand buttons on the screen.

The second monitor is a Video Display Screen.

Anything the person at the touch screen is viewing can be seen by everyone else in the room on this larger, higher elevated screen..

This screen has crystal clear broadcast quality.  When the visitor chooses to view a movie or video brochure this monitor automatically switches to full screen (Digital TV) mode so, combined with the stereo sound system, your kiosk becomes a mini movie theater.
