Visitor Information Kiosk - How It Works.
Non-Technical Operational Information
|
A Kiosk is very much like a web site. As a matter of fact you can use much of the content already on your website to speed up development time. The main differences are:
|
- Keyboard and mouse are optional. The typical kiosk uses a touch-sensitive screen.
- No scroll bar. Though the kiosk can be programmed to display a scroll bar, so visitors can scroll down or up on a page, most experts agree that each page should fit entirely on the screen. Therefore if you have a large page you would break it up and link to it with a “more..” button.
- Menus and buttons are bigger and ample space is provided between navigation buttons. People will be using their fingers to press the buttons.
- Zero Download Time. You can use super high quality graphics, photos and videos.
|
That is about all there is to it. We can help you:
- Plan and design the content and layout of your kiosk.
- Digitize your brochures and photographs.
- Convert videos and movies to a kiosk suitable format.
- Film and produce original videos.
- Put it all together.
- Then, help you promote it.
